Scarlett Johansson, American actress (born on November 22nd, 1985 New York City New York) is well-known for her ability to act across different genres such as the period dramas through thrillers to action-packed films. Johansson was the child of a filmmaker and architect. Her family was based in New York City. Hunter was twin to her younger sister. When she was a kid she started acting. At 7 years old, she had already auditioned for a number of commercials. In a brief time span, she began studying with the Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute. Later on it was the time that the Professional Children's School was opened in Manhattan. In the Off-Broadway play Sophistry she acted alongside Ethan Hawke. She then made her first film appearance in North (1994) and was produced by Rob Reiner, at age nine. Johansson was later seen as a character in Just Cause, but she first made an appearance in Manny & Lo, a film about orphaned siblings who escape. The film, The Horse Whisperer, Johansson was a teenager who suffered a horrific accident. In Ghost World, her role Ghost World brought her more notoriety as the infamous teenager Rebecca. Her fame was due to her role on Nell Jones, the CBS popular series NCIS Los Angeles. She has won awards for her performance and was one of the main cast members of the show. She has experience as a stage actress in addition to appearing in the show. She has delivered astonishing performances in stage productions such as Wildflower. Renee Felice's career in entertainment began in a very early age. As a child, Smith became interested in the field of acting. Smith was offered her first gig as an actor when she was 6 years old, with the help of her parents. Smith appeared in a Dannon TV commercial. Like many actresses who are new choose to pursue, she decided to build her talent in theatre. Her work included various USA productions, while also performing on stage with Wildflower. She was a graduate of the Stonestreet Studios Conservatory of the New York University Tisch School of the Arts.
